2015, new year, new marketing initiatives! We just finished the photo shoot for Troxel’s new line of products. Troxel, number one in the equestrian helmet industry, has been our client for 14 years; a long and healthy relationship. I collaborated with Emily Peak, a professional photographer from south Alabama with a passion for American West lifestyle, horses, cowboys & cowgirls… Visit Emily Peak Photography. With these new images, I completed their 2015 catalog: 40 highly designed pages featuring their brand new helmet, the Troxel ES. On the cover, the contrast between a satin aqueous coating finish and a spot UV on 80# Silk Cover paper gives a soft touch to reinforce the velveteen nature of the helmet. Finally, the “Witch Black” effect, two nuances of blacks (100% black vs. rich black) is always challenging but brings subtle, beautiful results; thanks to Tony Fowler at RR Donnelley printing. With the new photographs we will be able to execute our 2015 marketing calendar including print and online advertising, updated website, email campaigns, and social media.
